Clouds above go sailing by…
Finally the sun as come and the weather is so nice. This week i had time to spear and passed most of my time shooting some images here and there. This is an example of one my favorite spots to shoot.
Discovering new spots is something that i will be doing with my friends César and Filipe as a part of our new project.
Nature Paths was born from the need to show in several supports ( photography, video, text articles ) what lost treks we have on our island.
This is meant to be mostly fun and then a project that brings information wich identifies S. Jorge – Açores and its beautiful landscape, fauna and flora.

Leave Out All The Rest
The rain has been comming down strong. Today at the end of the afternoon i had a little breach and ran to a near by spot to test my new filters.
Had little time and couldn’t get to near of the sea because it was vigorous. So i explored quickly the place and gave it a try, five or six shots later was packed and ready to head home.
The image that i liked best was this one. Love the greens on the pastures and the tones in the sky, hope you do too.
Thanks
This time the theme was studio photography and light painting.
Saw a video “Off Camera Flash Meets Light Painting” about light painting from Brent Pearson and got the urge to give it a try.
It was a fantastic experience and i have to thank Filipe Lopes, César Sequeira and my great model, Joana Cabral that made her own body painting and indured on a hard mission.
This short video made by Filipe shows how funny and cool this session was.
Silveira’s Natural Park adventure
As it is normal me and my friends, Filipe Lopes and César Sequeira, made arrangements for a photographic escaped to Silveira’s Natural Park.
The day was cloudy and with a diffuse light, perfect to photograph the waterfalls that abound at this park. The explorer in us came out and we adventured in places that we never had been, unfolding beautifull sceneries and lovely images to record. After four hours and lots of terrain we decided to call it a day and went home, tired, hungry but with a smile in our faces.
Hope you like it as much as i did.
Hello world!
The starting point of a new project. The creation of a blog has always been one of my ideas and now i’m going ahead with it.
